Abstract:

El presente artículo busca problematizar la enseñanza de contenidos del dominio de las Nuevas Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC) abordándola desde perspectivas constructivistas. El énfasis está puesto en la articulación de diferentes escalas temporales: la historia cultural, la ontogénesis y  la microgénesis de  destrezas y conocimientos específicos. La intención final de este artículo es poder suspender la actitud natural frente a las TIC para repensar las prácticas de enseñanza aprendizaje como culturalmente organizadas y a partir de ello caracterizar la estructura interna de la acción educativa que tiene por objeto a las TIC.

Introducción.


¿Por qué abordar la alfabetización digital desde el constructivismo? Principalmente, porque permite desubicarnos frente al discurso cotidiano que presenta a la alfabetización digital como un fetiche facilitador de la inserción laboral, el aumento de la productividad y la eficiencia. Si bien se  puede asociar el uso experto de las TIC con estos fenómenos, para plantear y conducir prácticas educativas bien fundadamentadas es necesario reflexionar sobre el tema contemplando diferentes dimensiones de análisis.

En primer lugar, las TIC como producto sociohistórico, carácter que  estructura internamente la acción educativa. En segundo lugar, una redefinición de unidades de análisis que  contemple la actividad en curso (el tiempo) y la participación de personas en torno a metas (el sentido). En tercer lugar, aplicar el concepto de “ley de doble formación” a la constitución del espacio interno del alumno mediante prácticas que toman con naturalidad ciertas representaciones de las TIC instauradas en el discurso masivo. En cuarto lugar, qué tipos de conocimiento están implicados en la alfabetización digital . En quinto lugar, la necesidad de un cambio en las representaciones (desde un usuario “consumidor” o “cliente”, hacia un usuario “autónomo” o “estratega”). Finalmente, un esbozo de qué estrategias se pueden utilizar, ya sea desde modelos metacognitivos, hasta las propuestas de trabajo cooperativo.


Hay un concepto  clave para la comprensión de los fines y alcances de este artículo. Es el de las TIC, entendidas como procesos de “producción y reproducción de símbolos, de información y conocimientos” (Vizer, 2003; pg. 323), que “construyen nuevos espacios-tiempo en donde se constituyen nuevas formas de relación social, nuevas formas institucionales, nuevas categorías de aprehensión de la experiencia personal y social y nuevas dimensiones de la cultura” (Vizer, 2003; pg. 324). La alfabetización digital sería la práctica educativa cuyo dominio está constituido por los contenidos conceptuales, actitudinales y procedimentales básicos para el uso de las TIC. Como el presente trabajo tiene carácter exploratorio y problematizador, se utilizó la técnica de revisión bibliográfica para conformar un marco teórico, sumado a las ideas previas y metas personales de la autora, afines a su experiencia docente y su formación en ciencias sociales.
